Chevy: America's Brand

1928 Chevy Truck

1967 Chevy Camaro

The Chevrolet was the all American brand that came shortly after the Ford Motor Company created the Model T. The Chevy (as it's commonly called) is the brand that created the Americans iconic car: The Chevrolet Camaro. It was originally produced to have the biggest motor out of all cars on the market. It succeeded for the longest time. Then in the early 2000's the Camaro was discontinued in promise that when it was re-released it would have more ties to the original body style of the 1960's. Now not to leave out the iconic Chevy trucks. They had a humble beginning as a heavy wood-bedded pick-up truck. They have evolved into the Chevrolet Duramax dually trucks of today. They elongated the body of the years of production. Then the engine size was maxed out for the size of the truck that was created. Chevy also had some failures. Those cars were still Chevy but Chevy wishes to dis-own these awkward failures. One of these failures was the Chevy Chevette. It was meant to be a smaller but just as fast version of the iconic Chevy Corvette. It was the biggest failure in the eyes of the Chevy corporate level. However the Chevette was one of the highest selling Chevy's because of it's low price and the fact that they knew it was Chevrolet produced. The Chevrolet is the All-American brand and always will be.
